Our History
Kingdom Hearts was founded in early 2022, born from a deeply personal journey of resilience and hope. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, two sisters faced unimaginable loss—jobs, homes, vehicles—nearly everything they owned was stripped away. Yet, through the hardship, they clung tightly to what remained: their family and an unwavering sense of purpose.
Despite their determination to rebuild, they encountered unexpected barriers. Because of the size of their family, they were repeatedly denied access to critical support services. These obstacles revealed a painful gap in the system—one that left many families like theirs without the help they desperately needed.
Rather than give in to despair, the sisters transformed their experience into action. They envisioned a place where no one would be turned away due to circumstances beyond their control—a community-driven organization that offers not just aid, but dignity, empowerment, and a path to stable living.
Thus, Kingdom Hearts was born. Today, the organization stands as a beacon of compassion, bridging the gap between crisis and stability, and walking alongside individuals and families as they reclaim their futures.
Who We Are
Kingdom Hearts is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to delivering holistic, person-centered services to homeless and economically disadvantaged individuals, youth, and families. We prioritize community development, workforce, and human services to foster self-sufficiency, independence, and financial responsibility.
